· This website is updated daily – items listed should be available for purchase. We currently list over 1,000,000 magazines on this website – and growing daily! To the best of our knowledge our magazines are complete with all pages, unless noted otherwise. All available inventory is listed online – WE DO NOT carry additional magazines not listed, with the exception of National Geographic and Life magazines. Most post-1950 popular US magazines have mailing labels on the bottom of the covers. We offer a full refund on any item that does not match its described condition! Want lists for specific issues are filed by email – so please feel free to email your wants!

· WE ARE NOT PURCHASING magazines from afar – we’re well supplied locally with mountains of magazines needing sorting & listing. Please do not email or call with such requests! ALSO – WE CANNOT appraise the value of your magazines!

· When multiple issues are listed (i.e. - “3 copies”) – the price is per issue, not for all issues available. If a specific quantity of issues available is not noted with the listing, there is one copy available. Issues marked “Not Available” are currently out of stock.

· ARTICLE SEARCH REQUESTS – Please use the Search function on the top of our homepage – we list major articles for most popular US magazines. First words listed are a brief description of the cover subject/image. Also, we have indexes available for Life (1936-1969), Time (1932-1969), Fortune (1930-1945), Sports Illustrated (1954-1969, New Yorker (1925-2004) and National Geographic (1888-1988). WE ALSO NOW HAVE a nearly complete run of “Readers Guide to Periodical Literature”, indexing subjects and authors published in most major American Magazines from 1900 to 2003 – research requests will need as much information as possible. WE CANNOT locate specific homes in home & garden magazines, recipes in women’s magazines, advertisements, or craft patterns – Sorry! RESEARCH REQUESTS ACCEPTED VIA EMAIL ONLY!

1.                          EMAIL Orders  – Email Sales@pastpaper.com with the following information:

·         Title, date, price and quantity of requested item(s)

·         COMPLETE Name and billing address. We cannot quote some shipping options without this information!

·         Shipping address (if different from billing address)

·         Shipping Method desired (see below)

·         Insurance or Tracking options desired (US Only)

·         Method of Payment that will be used for the order (see below)

We will email back within 24 hours (usually within a few hours) with your order’s total cost and payment instructions.

TELEPHONE Orders – Please call us at 717-442-1277 Monday thru Saturday 9AM to 6PM EST (That’s 3PM for you folks on the west coast!).  If the phone keeps ringing and does not go to the answering machine, we’re on the line with another customer. Please try back later – thanks!   If possible, email order information (Name, address, items wanted) prior to calling with your credit card information – and we’ll email back with payment and shipping price options.

 

2.                          Shipping Options:

§  U.S. Orders Postage

USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days):

            Smaller Size Magazines - Time, Newsweek, EW, New Yorker, Sports Illustrated, People, etc. size - $5.50 for 1 to 2 magazines

            Larger Size Magazines - Life, Colliers, Saturday Evening Post, Look, Rolling Stone, etc. size – email zip code for zoned pricing

            Other magazines – email titles and dates required, with your address for zoned pricing

 

USPS Parcel Post (up to 70 lbs.) and 1st Class Mail (under 13 ounces ONLY) are available – please email sales@pastpaper.com for rates

 

USPS Media Mail (1-2 weeks):  Cannot be used for magazines, newspapers, or other items with advertising within.

 

§  Additional Options - USPS Delivery Confirmation (US Shipments only) - $0.70 for Priority Mail, $0.80 for 1st Class or Media Mail. These fees are in addition to the postage costs.

§  Additional Options - USPS Insurance (US Shipments only) - $1.75 for orders under $50.00 (exclusive of postage), $2.25 up to $100.00, $2.75 up to $200.00, $4.75 up to $300.00. These fees are in addition to the postage costs.

§  Federal Express – We will ship overnight or 2-Day via FedEx on your FedEx number ONLY (i.e. – billed to your Federal Express Account). We cannot schedule a same-day pickup from FedEx after 10AM EST. $5.00 processing fee will be charged for all Federal Express orders.

§  Canada and International – Priority Mail International (4 to 6 days depending on destination) , or 1st Class International for small items. NOTE: International orders are not insurable – if the package is lost in transit, we cannot be responsible for replacement costs.  

3.                          Payment by:

·         Paypal - register at - www.paypal.com. Paypal is the largest credit card payment service on the internet – more than 24 million users, world-wide! Paypal instructions – click here.  

·         Check or Money Order – US Funds only. Mail to Crinkley Bottom Books, 800 Bellevue Ave, Gap, PA 17527. Checks made out to Brett Snyder.

·         Visa or Mastercard, Debit Cards – Will need your full name, billing and shipping addresses, daytime phone, etc.  DOUBLE-CHECK your credit card number & Expiration Date if providing by email please! We also need the three security numbers located on the back of the credit card on the signature strip. NOTE: “Crinkley Bottom Books” will be listed on your billing statement, not “Pastpaper.com”.

 

4.                          Returns – full refund for items received that are not as listed (content or condition), or with prior authorization by email/phone. Returns accepted within 30 days only. A restocking fee of 15% may be charged.
